In the Pulse Project formation, various cultures and music styles merge in a fascinating way. The creative minds behind the six-member band are Yazan Alsabbagh (clarinet), Hesham Hamra (oud), and Santino Scavelli (drums). Hesham and Yazan have been playing music together since childhood and have already achieved great musical success in their homeland of Syria. Santino Scavelli (drums), Simon Zauels (bass), Andre Haaf (keyboard), and Julius Imhäuser (guitar) form the rhythm section of Pulse Project.

Their music can be described as a fusion of Arabic and Western music, incorporating elements of jazz, rock, and reggae. The musicians, who study at both the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg and the University of Music in Mannheim, have managed to create something new and extraordinary despite their different musical backgrounds. A large part of the pieces comes from the Berlin-based clarinetist Yazan Alsabbagh, who has already made a name for himself in his homeland of Syria. The band has been in existence for almost two years now and has captivated audiences in many different places during that time. Based in the music city of Mannheim, they have already played at the Kulturzentrum, Baroque Palace, Alte Feuerwache, and most recently at the sold-out jazz club Ella & Louis. But the six musicians have also thrilled audiences outside the Quadratestadt: they performed at the Musikmesse Frankfurt as well as in the Hamburg Harbor. The release of their first live video of the single "Byat on Fire" also received much acclaim.

Pulse Project has performed at the following venues:
